BMW Definition CE 04

The Definition CE 04 has a futuristic design in the style of the Concept Link shown in 2017. Of the exterior features: the electric motor allowed the CE 04 to be “lowered” compared to other BMW motorcycles; suspension parts were deliberately left exposed. The battery, located under the floor panel, does not take up much space and allows you to make a large luggage compartment to carry your helmet and personal belongings. A side door provides easy and convenient access to it. Placing the flat battery under the floor lowers the center of gravity, which ensures good handling, and a fast and accurate response to the steering.

The novelty is painted in gloss Mineral White with metallic white side panels and matte black plastic covering the battery compartment. The especially left gaps between the “black” and “white” clearly show the electric motor, battery, and power controller cooling fins, rear-wheel drive, single-shoulder rear swingarm, and suspensions. The side white panels, like the winglets on modern Moto Grand Prix bikes, are slightly set back from the body. The design of the two U-shaped LED running lights is minimalist, and the taillights are integrated into the body side panels as two C-shaped lightweight elements.

Flat, compact power cell assemblies and a small powertrain with a lightweight cogged drive belt allow us to choose the layout ourselves and pay more attention to the design. We have tried to give the CE 04 a new look in the spirit of the modern city, different from the traditional and familiar, defined by the classic layout. It is a design that pushes back on the simple functionality, clear aesthetics, and digital reality of today’s users. The new architecture has led to a visual revolution and given birth to many new styles. CE 04 is unusual, bright, and stands out.”
