RGNT No.1 – Classic

The Swedish company RGNT Motorcycles has started preliminary applications for its very first model – an electric motorcycle with a very trivial name “No.1”!

At a time when the majority of manufacturers of modern, moving electric vehicles prefer futuristic themes in design, the small company from Stockholm initially decided to focus on retro style. But the novelty itself is certainly not old-fashioned!

The basis of the design is a strong steel frame. The wheelbase is 1420 mm, and the seat height from ground level is 820 mm. In addition, the bike received 18-inch multi-spoke wheels, ISR disc brakes, a front suspension inspired by the Italian manufacturer Ceriani, and diode lighting equipment. An 8-kilowatt (11 kW at peak) electric motor accelerates the “first” RGNT to a top speed of 125 km/h. The 7.7 kWh battery provides a range of up to 150 km without recharging. Such characteristics speak clearly about the city residence of the new motorcycle, without any thoughts of long-distance voyages.

Another important feature will be an advanced electronic system developed in collaboration with Qamcom and Evolve. Featuring GPS navigation, high-speed 4G connectivity, and a cloud-based service, each rider will be able to customize their individual profile, have the ability to log ride data, receive real-time software updates, and perform other tricks. All control is entrusted to a 7-inch touch screen.

The base price of RGNT No.1 at 10,500 euros can easily go up a couple of thousand due to options such as chrome trim or better leather seats with stitching.
