Mazda MX-30 electric crossover

Two causes of faulty systems of the MX-30 electric vehicle, force Mazda to recall 11,774 vehicles in Europe.

The first reason for the recall is that the car’s brake lights can come on when reversing, even though the brake pedal is not depressed.

The second problem associated with the 11,261 Mazda MX-30 is a misinterpretation of the Motor Hill Assist (MHA) system action in certain road situations.

In order to solve the problem, owners of electric cars will have to visit Mazda dealerships to perform a 20-minute software update of the vehicle’s control unit, since there is no wireless software update option.
