The electric MINI Cooper SE receives a number of design and technology updates, which are reflected in a special series of electric cars called the MINI Electric Collection, which goes on sale from March 2021.

Changes include an update to the front of the car, where the round headlights and hexagonal grille stand out more clearly, as well as a unique multi-toned roof that changes color from charcoal black in the stern to blue at the windshield itself, bypassing the pearl marine hue in the center.

Complementing the unusual roof color will be the similarly styled hood of the electric car and the overall body paint color Island Blue metallic, offered for the first time for the MINI Cooper SE.

The MINI Electric Collection series also includes adaptive LED matrix headlights, sill pads with the MINI Electric logo, sport seats with light grey faux leather fabric, and interior trim elements in aluminium.

Other features of the special model include black side mirrors, 17-inch alloy wheels, a sporty leather steering wheel with Nappa trim and grille and door handles trimmed in gloss black.

In addition, the MINI Cooper SE Electric Collection will receive a heated steering wheel and can optionally be equipped with the Connected Navigation Plus package with projection display, wireless charging, concierge mode and active cruise control, which includes Stop & Go function for the first time on a MINI.

The drive of the special model has not changed. The electric motor is rated at 135 kW/184 hp and is powered by a 32.6 kW⋅h battery. The power is transmitted through a single-speed automatic transmission. The lithium-ion high-voltage battery provides a range of 203 to 234 kilometers in the WLTP test cycle.
