The French company Renault, as part of a plan to expand its electric lineup, plans to revive in addition to the Renault 5, another classic model Renault 4.

According to insider information from Autocar, the all-electric Renault 4 will hit the market in 2025.

As evidence of the Renault 4, Autocar quotes Renault CEO Luca de Meo as saying that in addition to the Renault 5, the company plans to revive “at least one more retro model.”

It is indicated that the new “four” will use the same CMF-EV platform as the Renault 5, and will have many common specifications with it, although Autocar suggests the two cars will be positioned in different classes, and the Renault 4 is likely to appear as a compact crossover, while the Renault 5 has already been announced as a hatchback.
